100th day of school

Our 100th day of school was a big success! The children spent the day exploring the number 100 in many fun and exciting ways. We counted and read 100 emails from around the world. We hung and graphed our responses. We counted and shared 100 things that we brought from home and we even made a list of our favorite 100 toys! The children also worked hard on our classroom story..."What would YOU buy with 100 dollars?"

Mrs. Schlag graphs our emails from our visitors! They came from all over the world

The children listen quietly as the messages are read. They take turn finding the places our messages are from on the map!

We began an ongoing bar graph to keep track of where our emails came from!

The children wrote about and drew a page for our classroom book! They had fun spending their 100\\$.

hmm....what do I want to buy?

Maybe I will buy a necklace, dress amd some pretty shoes!

Spending our money is a lot of work!

Having Fun!

Our pages are now ready to puT in our class book! We worked very hard!

We recieved emails from around the world. They were displayed in the hallway so that others could share our messages. The countries included Spain, England, Portugual, The Azores, Korea, Japan, Iceland, Canada and many more!

Our graph will contiue to grow throughout the year as we recieve more visitors to our classroom!

We also enjoyed reading Mrs. Bindergarten's 100th day of Kindergarten!

What a wonderful day!
